Question about Westinghouse Turbo Swirl 78145 Ceiling Fan
I hooked up a used ceiling fan, I got it to work but I only have one speed. All three positions are on high speed and off, only. How do I rewire the switch to work with all the three speed positions?
I could not understand that "all the three positions are on high speed and off" ? How can be it possible that all the (three) positions give high speed and at the same time no speed (off)? Please explain.
What I feel that the speed controller be in series with the fan. "in series" mean that the wire should come from phase or line, go to the speed controller , then go to the fan, then finally go to the neutral point. This completes the circuit.
I will be happy to know more about this if it could not solve your problem.
