Fisher Paykel fridge stopped working

After I moved it. The power source works so I was wondering if there was a circuit breaker on the back or something to reset it and make it work again. This is oly 2 years old and is 1 half of the pidgeon pair with the freezer as a seperate unit.

Yes I have same problem. However all lights are on and freezer is working but fridge is getting warmer. This has been gradual for 3 years since we moved.

Hi I have a active smart fridge freezer E521TRT. The fridge section is freezing and seems to be stuck on the coldest setting. When you try to adjust it, it flashes red.

Sounds to me like your thermostat has gone,or if its a electronic model ,it would be the power supply down by the compressor.. Masters5

Youre meant to if moved, let it sit for atleast an hour before turning on because moving it disrupts the gas inside. Did you do that?

Fisher & paykel fridge e521t no power to fridge, not any power coming to fridge

Did you try an other electrical outlet? Can you test the outlet has any voltage?
does the fridge have an on / off switch? I don't think so, so if nothing works also check the cable and the plug going in the outlet.

E442 Fridge Was noisy, now trips mains power :(

Sounds like the compressor is grounded out causing the breaker to trip, but it could also be wiring, but if I recall most things in those type of machines reduce down to 12vdc and that wouldn't blow the breaker.

Fisher and paykel double dish draw has stopped working and is coming up with F5

Hi.

F5 is Lid Fault.

Try clearing the error code by disconnecting power from circuit breaker for five minutes. If that does not help, then there is a problem with lid switch. The part must be tested and replaced.

Regards.

Fridge keeps blowing the breaker

Depending on what is causing the breaker to blow will be important to know. Refrigerators do draw a good bit of power on a 20 amp circuit especially when the refrigerator goes into defrost. Refrigerators are made to run on a 20 amp circuit without other machines or appliances using the same power circuit. Circuit breakers weaken over time too especially if they have more than they are. rated for plugged into the same circuit. And your circuit may be doing its job by detecting an excessive draw of power when the refrigerator is plugged in. You must have someone that knows electricity to inspect your refrigerator for shorting and the circuit it is plugged to for correct wiring for every ones safety. Thanks, Sea Breeze

Fisher paykel dish draw

Turn the power off to your dishwasher for about 30 seconds by flipping off the circuit breaker in your home's breaker box. When you turn the breaker back on it will have reset the dishwasher and should begin working just fine.

Fisher Paykel ED56 auto sensor dryer - just not working!

Hi,

It might be the circuit breaker of the mains/AC line. Pls try using another outlet/source of power. Alternately, most dryers have their own circuit breaker at the back of the unit. This would appear to be a push button switch, pls try see if your unit has one and press on it.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
