Set default photo viewer

Dear Susan, generally MS doc pics are copy paste images or they're embedded in the document through screen shots. If you click the image it would find the default image viewer and open it in it. If you want to remove this feature you might like to right click the image in MS word and remove the hyperlink feature if its from URL. You might also like to save picture by right-clicking it and using option save as...

I recommend not to click images in a document because it would always search for a default program to open it.

Right click on the image file and choose "open with" then "choose program" at this point you have to choose the "browse" button even if the program you want to use may be in the programs window.

Browse to the program you want to use to preview image files. Select it and put a check in the "always use selected program . . . " box. This will assure your choice "sticks" in explorer.

You will have to do this with all the image file types (jpg, bmp, gif,) that you DON'T want photoshop to open - but there should only be about 3-4 common ones.
