-   I replaced the batteries and it still does not work well. Sometimes it is fine, and then it won't work well. I have to press a key several times to get it to respond sometimes and other times I will press a key and it will produce about ten of the same letter.-   Guest

-   I've only had this new keyboard for a couple of weeks. My Enter and Delete keys have to be pressed repeatedly and hard to work. Very frustrating! -   immerlink

-   Some keys do not respond when pressed. Sometimes I can slide the part just above the keys and the keyboard begins to work again. Later it will stop working again.-   talexander27

Microsoft's Elite Wireless keyboard and mouse is an excellent combination for use, according to your criteria. It costs less than $65.00 and is easily connected to replace a wired keyboard and mouse.
I have been using two of them for years now, and have never had a problem with them.
They eliminate excess wires, and work like a charm.
