Hi, I just bought a Fuji Xerox DocuPrint C525A and neither the place I bought it nor FX themselves seem to be able to help me. When i loaded the driver on, the printing preferences come up in Japanese. I tried downloading the latest driver from the website, still the same. I checked my regional settings, set to Australia. I tried removing and reinstalling the printer and still no luck. PLEASE HELP!!!!
Easiest solution is to go to www.xerox.com.
Serch your printer and go to drivers and downloads. Then downlond the newest englis version of the print driver.
Then call Xerox and inquire about the proper driver.
It IS a driver problem. You just have to contact them for the right one.
There have been several drivers that have done that.
Some have had Spanish drop down menus and the rest English.
Some have been half Half German half half English and some half Scandinavian and half English.
Don't kill the messanger. That is not an uncommon problem, seen it several times. It is the driver and you just need to be persistant with the issue.
Thats fantastic. I am glad you have this resolved.
I know how absolutely frustrating that can be.
You do a printer install and think your done and its embarassing when you start to show someone how to use the driver and its in some foreign language.
Glad to hear you have it fixed.
My next suggestion was take a course in Japaneese LOL.

Thanks for your help but neither of these worked. I already had downloaded latest version and it is in Japanese when I install it.
NOTE: I tried selecting English from the cd driver, and when I do it comes up as unable to complete the installation, any ideas about this?
Thanks so much for your help. So far my contact with Xerox has been extremely unhelpful, however, I have contacted the store I purchased the printer from who said to bring it back and they can replace the driver. Thanks for your comment because I always thought it as the driver but noone has been able to help so was starting to wonder.
Hi, I have just been to the place I bought the printer from and after much playing around with the computer they logged a call with FX who suggested a different website to download the driver from, fxprinters.com.au, this was better but still partly chinese, then suggested downloading Windows 2000 driver, this has solved the problem and it is now in ENGLISH!! YAY!!!
