With the jawbone turned off, press at the same time the turn on button and the noise reduction button. The jawbone should blink white and red for three minutes, in that time you shoul be able to find it as a bluetooth device in the free hnd configuration of the palm centro. than yu complete the conection by inserting the code. The next time you turn on the jawbone it will connect with te palm.

If your Centro doesn't pair up with your Jawbone then try a larger or longer phone that will reach from your ear to mouth without interfering with your jawbone, That has to be uncomfortable!

My Droid won't discover the Jawbone headset in scan mode. Any ideas?

do you have both units in scan (discover or pairing) mode? both units have to be set to pair for the connection to take place. Make sure the jawbone is fully charged up as well.

How do i tranfer my contacts from my palm centro & another palm centro?

First, make sure you backup all of your data, including data in any 3rd party apps.
Sync your first Palm Centro with the Palm Desktop software to save the data.
Verify the sync settings in the Palm Desktop software to make sure when you begin syncing with the new Palm Centro, the settings for each application (contacts, calendar, memos, etc.) are one-way sync to the device, or you might end up overwriting the data in your Palm Desktop software with what's on the new Palm Centro.
When you sync your new Palm Centro with the desktop software the first time it will ask you to name the new device. If you give it the same name as the old Palm Centro, all of the data will sync to your new Palm Centro.
Search your computer for a folder with the name "Palm" in it to try and locate the name of your old Palm Centro, so you can name the new Palm Centro the same. When you locate that folder on your computer, it would be a good idea to simply make a copy of that folder as a total backup.

I have a palm centro how do u hard reset or whatever it is?

Hi.

If you do a hard or soft reset you'll loose the data on the phone but not the sim.

You can find the manual here: http://www.palm.com/us/support/handbooks/centro/centrorow_ug.pdf

Refer to pages 225 for reset instructions..

I cant use any other sim card on palm centro phone which is unlocked one. i can use airtel india with internet but others are not accepting internet connection

Every operator has its parametre for recieving data or GPRS and 3G (UMTS).Your phone is configured for airtel but if you want to use others their parameters must be entered separately and set as defaul correct one when changing SIM. To find parameters wisit other operators pages, there may be special numbers where you can call and recieve data messages containing parameters and simply save or find instructions how to manually enter them. Also you must activate WAP/GPRS function in every opearator and it winn need aditional charge.

Palm centro wont boot

Do a reset. You will lose all items on you device.
Take battery out. Put it in and hold the power button on till you see the palm logo the second time. Release when you see the 2nd logo. It will prompt you for pressing up to delete and reset. Press Up. It will take some time to reset and reformat but please wait.
After that your phone should come to the setup screen. I would hotsync after you setup to get your contacts  back.

  2. Press Applications and select Bluetooth.
  3. Select Bluetooth On.

Motorola N136 bluetooth wth Palm Centro

ok, so yeah, go to your phone and tell it to search for devices. while it searches, hold down the big button on the front of the headset until the light lights up. while it's lit up, turn it on by folding out the microphone piece. this should almost instantly pair your headset.
