One buy one from Agfa by visiting thier website and checking out the support section.
Two check the lable on the printer or the manual which will tell you how many volts and how many Amps / milliamps it needs to run. Armed with that information go to almost any electrical store large supermarket and check out the multi voltage adaptors (ask in the store for help but results may vary from knowledgable to moron) buy one with at least the same Current or more if its 500 mA and they have one at 750 mA I would take that one. go home and plug it in checking that you have the correct end ( they come with a good selection) also check if it needs centre positive or negative (usually centre positive) and set your new adaptor to suit. It may have a small switch that does it for you or yo may have to change a the way the and connects as they are sometimes reversible just for that reason.
I know it sounds a lot to do but it means you can go out and get an adaptor without having to wait for Agfa and you will probably save money too

I am operating an agfa snapscan touch (serial #55a9n0miu) and Mac 0XS 10.4.11. The computer says that it cannot find the scanner. It asks me to turn on the scanner. I have downloaded a new driver for the scanner and stuffit expander. However, this has not solved the problem. Help, please.

I tried to open my scanner but get a message after it warms up A communication problem has occured. Open the log file to find out more. Where is the log file? I can't find it anywhere. How did this happen? I was scanning a photo and it put selection boxes around three of the portions of the picture. I wanted to close out of all of them but the scanner froze. So I did a 'force quit" I have a Mac. Now I can't get the scanner to work! Any idea what happened and how I can fix it. Thanks.
