When the red light is flashing while connected to the charger means the battery is being charged, once fully charged the light turn from red to green without flashing. If the red light is flashing while being use means the battery is low and in need of charging.
Hi, Ephraim. The flashing red light indicates that the device is showing "low battery". It could be that the LG phone charger fits the charging port on your bluetooth headset but it is not compatible with your device. In order for you to know that it is charging, the device should show a steady red light(means charging).
Please take a look at the table reference below.

Normally if you have a VXi, B250-XT on its charger and you are seeing both a Green and Red light the headset is changin over from charging to fully charged. The headset is designed to be able to use while it is on the charger however once you place it on the charger you must turn it on to reconnect to your phone before you can do this. Put the headset on and press the Multifunction Button for 2 to 3 seconds, you should hear two rising tones and the headset should reconnect with your phone. Note* your phone may require you to accept the connection request. If the headset will not turn on either on or off the charger I recommend calling VXi at 800-742-8588 for warranty repair information. A headset that will not turn on indicates the unit is having an issue with one of its control circuits.
Clean your battery contacts on the battery and charger with a pencil eraser to assure good contact. Flashing red or flashing in general usually is the sign of a too low to charge battery, a shorted battery or a bad connection. In some instances, a battery will begin to charge once left on the flashing charger for an hour or so. Try this and see if the light becomes constant. If so, it is charging. If it still flashes, replace the battery.
1. Charge it 4-7hrs
2. When ready, it must be light up either Green or Red when you PRESS IN on the Up/Dn Volume button
3. Press and hold the Answer button (on microphone boom) for 2-3secs, then Push IN and UP on the Up/Down Vol button'Light should flash Red/Green/Red/Green.....
4. Go to Phone, Enable Bluetoth and tell it to FIND new adapter/Devices
5. When it 'finds' M2500, punch in 4-zeroes (0000) and hit enter/Dial and it should connect
6. When connected, the 2500 will flash BLUE
Thats it!
If it will not charge up (light either RED or Green) the charger is bad, or the M2500 Battery is gone.
I opened mine up and will (!) replace it eventually, but it is consisted of 2 tiny batteries, about 1/4 as long and same diameter as a AAA connected together. They measure 1.3v each, but I think this is SUPPOSED to measure 2.4v. T Open, you have to use force and pry it apart starting at the charger socket end. Go slow and it wont break.

Have you activated phone yet? When phone is activated and in service it flashes green. It's hard to believe it would flash green without a SIM card, as there is no service...unless AT&T is providing emergency service only and you're getting a flashing green which means you're in range of their towers.
