Is this an xbox1 or xbox 360?

  • Anonymous Nov 30, 2007

If the disc is not scratched and doesn't have any
flaws on it, cleaning the disc and trying it once more may solve the
issue, if that doesn't work try to check it by putting other discs in
your Xbox 360 console, if they all work that would be definitely
a fault with the disc itself and in a case like this you have the right
to exchange it from the retailer you bought it from as it's not
    scratched.

In all cases if other game discs are giving you the
same error message "This disc is unreadable" OR "Unplayable disc" you
need then to contact Xbox 360 customer support to send your console to
    get repaired or exchanged.

Good day! I have a P4B ASUS Motherboard quiet older since its memory is SDRAM with 2.26 MHz processor installed with Windows XP Professional 2, the thing is a day comes that when I tried to boot it, it can...

Sounds like your CD drive is having a Read issue. If it works fine in another unit, it should work fine in this old unit too. But there are chances of drives of different brands having different read write capacities. For Example, some major brands in the market wouldnt read a CD which is having slight issues, while some ordinary brands of CD drives will read the same disk. I have experienced this couple of times. Here i have an option for you. Put the CD in another unit, copy the entire files to the HDD of that unit using xcopy command..
At Dos Command Prompt...

Xcopy <Source> <Destination> /s /e

You will get all the data on the disk copied to the destination folder.

Write another fresh CD with RW speed at 8X or 16X and get it burned with this data..

Remember, that the data which is on original should be written on to the new CD the same way.

Try to install with the newly written CD, and you will surely get rid of this issue. I am advicing you to make a complete new CD using the other box which can read this disk, as there could be chances of more files not being read if you use this original CD on this unit which has trouble. Do write back if you need any further assistance. Thanks for your Troubleshooting request. Good Luck.

Will it read?

Yes, that's what it looks like. Make sure you put this in the right section next time, though.

Won't recognize blank dvd

Chek wtat is written on front panel
If it DVD-RW it can record only DVD-R blank, if it + so only +R
or DVD-RAM. If it is DVD +/- RW or RAM it can record any disk.
Also chek the speed for you DVD and disk you using.
If you dvd maximum speed for recording is for example 2.7, 4, 8 you should use only DVD with max speed 2.7, 4, 8 or 1-8, 1-16 etc. So they should be labeled the same as you DVD

My psp will not read disks

Put a umd inside wait a sec or two open and check if there is a red light, den the lens is fine its most likely that your cd has been scratched. Try using dev-hook or a custom firmware to read games from memcard

DVD PLAYER

If the disk is not spinning in the drive, and a invalid disk message appears, remove the disk and unplug electrical socket. Open the DVD tray and remove the disk. Locate the lens within the tray. You should notice that it is on a small tab that moves left and right. Its default position is to the right, near where you clip in the center of the DVD. If it is all the way to the right, it is stuck. Find a small screwdriver, or something equivalent, and GENTLY pry the tab loose. DO NOT touch the lens, or pry near the lens, this may damage the player. Brace the other end of the loading tray while you're prying because it may require more force than you think. Keep in mind, this was the solution for me while the disk was NOT spinning and reading an invalid disk message. I'm currently stuck on that problem.
