Question about RCA TH1010 MP3 Player
I have a rca th1010 that i received last xmas.up until 2 weeks ago it played
beautifully;then 1 day it froze up.now it just displays either rca or ready in
the green mode.when i plug it in the computer -it says no device has been detected.my sister's did the same thing about a month ago.our granny can't find the receipts so we don't know if she put them under a warranty.
is there anything we can try?
Buzzing noise indicates hardware problem that cannot be repaired. Otherwise, Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
