Hi, some of those units have whats called a "RF cable" running from the back of the set to the tuner, and some are directly spot welded to the tuner, you need to remove the back from your set and see if yours is a short cable to the tuner, otherwise you have to replace the whole tuner, check the back of your set and you`ll see on a sticker the complete model number, (few numbers or letters after F32665) this is referred to as the service model number and I can look up exactly what you need to change

Your tuner comes up as "non replaceable tuner" which means it must be an "on-board tuner" which means it`s part of the main module. It does list an rf cable assembly which is what I believe you need, part number is 247714 which you should be able to get from any tv shop locally and install yourself. I would take the back off the set and verify this info but according to the parts listings it`s what you need, good luck

If all that's wrong is the coax jack on the back of the TV is missing, you need a "female panel mount "F" connector". You should be able to buy it at Radio Shack. How to connect it to the remaining wire will depend on how the internal wiring was done. If you aren't handy, and there is still a stump of cable showing, you might be better off buying a cable with a female end, cutting it off and then splicing the cable end to what's left in your TV. Look for YouTube videos on splicing coax cable. Either way, you will have to understand how to handle the center conductor and the shield. If you wind up working inside the TV, make sure you thoroughly understand what you're doing to avoid injury.

How to fix the antenna anolog cable connector that to coax cable connects to on back of TV.

Cut off the bad connector on the end of the coax cable. Go to Radio Shack, Home Depot, etc. and pick up a new twist-on coax connector, or a crimp on version if you have a crimping tool.

Twist the new coax connector on good and tight and you should be good to go.

How do you hook up regular coax cable to the TV?

You simply need an "F" connector to "Belling-Lee" converter. about $4.00. At any Radio Shack, Antenna shop. This screw onto the end of the existing antenna connection & makes it so you can plug it into the Socket at back of set.
I have included a link that has a picture.

England uses the PAL (Phase ALternate Line) system. The USA is the NTSC and now digital. See if your set has an NTSC setting.

Broken cable connector in the back of JVC tv

if the remaining piece was not part
of the PC board , which is light yellow
theres a good chance with a soldering iron
and a new female coax from radio shack
you could do it . or pay a shop 75.00 to
reinstall one for you.

The connector at the back of the tv where the cable would be connected broke off during a move. My step dad took the remaining piece out. How can we fix this? Is it a simple thing we can do ourselves?

The coax connector you describe is fairly low-tech, so it can be fixed. You need to open the back of the TV (careful - high voltage in the capacitors) and locate where it came from.

The best thing would be to take some coax cable and solder the appropriate parts (shield and center conductor) to their exposed matches where the break occurred.

You can then run that through the existing hole, put a screw-on F-terminal end on the piece of coax, and a coax coupler on that.

Home Depot, Lowes, Radio Shack, etc. all have these raw parts.

Digital to analog converter box hookup

You will have to go to Radio Shack or Wall Mart, maybe Home Depot and get a matching transformer. That will have spade terminals on one end to connect to your tv and a round (75ohm male thread) to hook to your converter box.

My TV is fine...problem happen when I was moving today, not sure what its called but its the silver projection located on the back of the TV is which you connect the cable on the wall too...it broke...

Hook the cable up to the VCR or if you don't buy a RF converter from radio shack or electronics store which will have a coax connector on it with component and Svideo to send to the TV. Select the connection (Component or Svideo) in the TV menu. If you only have the coax connector on the back of the TV without any other connection, you will need to get that tuner board replaced.

DOES THE SYSTEM POWER LITE GO ON? IF SO THE PROBLEM IS MOST LIKELY A DIRTY GAME. YOU NEED TO CLEAN EVERY GAME BEFORE PUTTING IT IN. MIX ALCOHOL AND WATER, 1 TO 1 AND USE A Q TIP TO CO UP AND DOWN THE CONTACTS. IF THEY ARE BEHIND A PLASTIC DOOR, STICK A SMALL SCREWDRIVER IN THE HOLE AND IT WILL MOVE BACK. OTHER THAN THAT, YOU SEEM TO HAVE DONE EVERYTHING RIGHT.
