Hello, Kumara! I recommend you to use this photo recovery software (also recover music and video files); it can help you recover your lost pictures from your Mp3 player:
Photo Recovery for Windows Users
Photo Recovery for Mac Users
Remember not write any thing to the device until you have got your pictures back!

Before few days ago, I faced same problem then suggest my friend to use Kernel Recovery for Digital Media software and I have used this application and restore my all photo from SD card. You can also use this application. Download free trial version from http://www.digitalphoto.freedatarecoverysoftware.org/

Have you formatted this player?
I hope you've not formatted it yet, since the formatting process always makes things worse.
Here are some ways for you to save back your inner data and this player:
1). Do not format this player till you've saved all your stored data back.
2). Do not add any new file on this player in case that anything new would rewrite your original data.
3). Do not randomly select a data recovery program. In your case, an efficient data recovery program always means a lot. Therefore, you can try to apply a memory card data recovery freeware to get back your player data successfully:
4). Do not save the restored data on the same player in case of data recovery failure.
5). Do not forget to format this card after the data recovery process so that you can check whether this "not formatted error" problem could be resolved.
Note: Never try to save everything important on only one memory card next time.

You can try some data recovery software. You can see
It tells the steps how to perform card recovery.
If above does not work, you may have to format the memory card (use quick format), and then use above mentioned software to scan again the memory card and recover your files.

I too had lost my music files from ipod due to file system corruption, so to reaccess those files again i kept asking different people "How to recover music from ipod?" After sometime i got a satisfying answer which suggested me to use How To Recover software. This software scans each sector of storage device and retrieves each of the lost files. You may get it over internet easily.
