Switch disk in psone slim

I bought a new psone slim and it works very well but when I play metal gear solid and finish disk 1 it asks for disk 2 and when I insert disk 2 it does not spin again to continue.

possible problem with the discs. but i run into that problem when the play station is not getting enough power.i don't understand how it works but try a different outlet.
