Will not connect to computer device not recognised

What type of device are you trying to connect to the scanner? The USB connection might not be working because the scanner can't register the device. It might also be a bad USB port. Have you tried a different device in that same port?

i want to use my sony cybershot dsc w180 as webcam. i got the required cables to connect the video outlet to my computer but it is not recognising the device please help

check what OS you are using...if XP then download active sync Microsoft website... if windows vista or 7 then download microsft mobile device center... your PC will then recognise the phone.

Either corrupted windows, or bad motherboard. One thing you can do is unplug power cable and all usb devices, wait about 10 mins... plug everything back in and try it....

To Reconnect the Device and the Receiver :

Position the Power Switch to “Presenter” mode to turn on the presenter.

if you are having technical problem with your archos 605 just do this connect your USB with your computer and your archos device will pop up on the screen asking you if you want to charge your device or enaable usb that will automatically appear if your computer doesen't reconise the device then switch it off and on again if doesen't work then i suggest you look it up on the archos manual which is located on your device. if that doent work then i think you may need to update your computer it must have windows Core dual processor if that don't work and your archos device doesent appear then i think you may need to update your computer with a service pack 2 installation cd

pressed RESET button on TomTom & usb device then recognised.
