My memorex S99 is displaying PSCAN and has a split screen. I have read the Manuel but It dos not work.. How do I remove this?

- DVD player is still showing PSCAN, I have unplugged unit to reset. There is no PSCAN button on the remote or on the back of the box...............HelpSolution #1

Your DVD player is set for progressive scan output, and the TV does not support this output.
Try unplugging the player from power to reset to factory.
Check if there is a PScan button at the back of the unit.
Check if there is a progressive scan button or a I/P button on the remote.
See if you can access setting menu to turn off the pscan.
