Well i Have a mega+2 and the drivers disk that came with the camera, but when I try to download the disk it keeps saying that it can't download. It also say that the wizard cannot find the necessary software. How do I correct this problem

hi... if you lost your software or the CD driver of your camera.. you can easily download it from the official website of the manufacturer where you buy it... or else just log on to www.downloads.com... thank you...
You can either order another one through Canon for $19.95 I believe.
Also you can connect your camera and download without it as long as you have the driver updated. You can get the driver by going to Canon website, finding your camera's downloads and drivers section and selecting your operating system.
If this doesn't solve it, update the driver software from your device manager. If your camera shows up there, make sure it is the only imaging device that shows up, right click and update driver software by having your computer search automatically. This should work assuming your camera is compatible with your OS. Feel free to ask any other questions if this doesn't resolve your issue.
I had the same problem this is what happened on my case
maybe you are trying to open the application with out the camera
try plugging the Camera then open the aplication.
if you downloaded the software make sure you have the correct software (on might case I dowloaded the Chameleon Mega Driver instead of the right one)
