I'm basically having the same problem with my wife's Pantec Duo, however I've been able to get the ringtones down to size and on the phone. My only problem is that I cannot get the "EDIT" option to come up to set specific ringtones to her contacts. Can some on help.

connect your phone to computer, phone will ask disk drive or pc suite, select disk drive, create a folder sound or ringtones not mandatory just to ease things. put your ringtones or mp3 in this folder.
remove cable and select file explorer from program menu or start. browse to your memory card or phone memory where we have created folder ringtone.
next select the ringtone you want to use and hold it for a second you will get prompt to use as ringtone.just select it.

I HAVE A W 180 MOTOROLA TRACFONE AND I TRY TO DOWNLOAD PICTURES FROM MY COMPUTER TO THE PHONE AND I CANKT BECAUSE IT SAID THAT I NEED TO INSTAL A HARDWARE AND I DONT KNOW WITCH ONE IS

You need to find and install Motorola phone tools. It works with your Motorla phone to put pics on and make your own ringtones if your phone supports polyphonic ringtones and pictures.

How to download ringtone from my pc to cell phone omni

Copy and paste your ring tones or music to My Documents/My Ringtones folder. You will be able to select the music or tones at the Sounds and Notifications setup page.
To save space on your memory, you can also store it in My Storage which is the 8 or 16GB card.
Create a folder called My Ringtones under My Storage. Put all your MP3 songs in My Storage/My Ringtones.

Ringtone for each phone number

I have verizon too and I used to have this phone. You need to go to contacts, and choose the contact you want to put the custom ringtone for. Once you get to the contact you want to add the ringtone for, press edit. Scroll down till it says ringtone, then press "set" and choose from your list of ringtones. Press ok, then press save. This should work. If not, contact verizon because then it would be a software issue :) Hope I've helped you out!

LG Env Phone and Ringtones

I can Help. First of all, dont pay a cent to verizon, i have had issues with them for a while about overcharges. Anyway...

Download a program called " Bitpim " Its free, or " ImTOO3gp " i got IMToo3gp from " the pirate Bay . com, using a bit torrent, the bitpim is from a site that downloads straight to P.C.

Hook your phone to your P.C. Via Cable. What i did is i bought the verizon package for there VCAST music sync. It has the P.C. Drivers for your phone but there built into the program so you have to install it, but dont actually use the program. once thats installed, hook the phone to the P.C. and you can use Bitpim to download all the data from your phone, the " ImToo3gpp also works but instead of hooking the phone, you take your Micro SD, put it in the bigger holder that should have come with it, get a USB media port that fits the SD card 9 got mine at wallmart for $13. once you connect it, it shows up as another drive on your P.C. like a Pin drive. Then you can covert the music and put the destination folder as the SD's music folder and the program automatically converts it. It pretty sweet and helpull. i was able to drop MP3's and i was able to make ringtones. You have to have a little working knowledge of converting files. The ringtones use MPEG 3 or 4 files and you have to put them in your " MY_SOUNDS" folder that the phone created on the Micro SD, dont drop them in the music folder or youll get ringtones playing in your songs list.

I was able to Make 3gpp2 Files of the ventuire brothers and have movies on my phone also but its tricky.

Hope this helps.
