Question about Philips AZ2025 CD Player

1 Answer

Phillips CD Player

Lost the AC Adapter cord. Is it difficult to find the right one if I do not have the Model Number?

The adapter has two openings that fit into the two prongs on the back of the unit.

Any ideas?

Re: Phillips CD Player

It is not at all difficult to find an adapter cord, just tell the shop that you need a Philips cord, it is a standard model for almost all of the Philips appliances like this.

My Fisher CD Player heats up right after plugged in. Unplug, cools off, same problem when replugged. Why?

check the voltage of the new charger
If it heats so quickly the I suspect that the adapter is not correct voltage for the player.

Need the specifications of the AC adapter for my emerson model HD9971 cd player. So I can purchase a replacement.

The player needs a 4-1/2 volt, 500mA adapter. The plug must be center positive. Radio Shack sells suitable adapters. You may also be able to find them at thrift shops or resale stores where they often have a big pile of these adapters.

How do I use my mp3 player with my stereo player? I plugged the adapter cord into the earphone hole,no sound came out of the player

When you plug the adapter cord into your earphone hole make sure that your stereo player is set to auxiliary mode( AUX mode). If you do not set it to auxiliary mode you will not hear any sound, also make sure that the other end of the adapter cord is plugged in properly to the AV input (not output of the stereo player).

Missing CD player of Wurlitzer CD Jukebox model New York,NY 1993

All of the one more time jukeboxes used the Phillips CD player, they started with the CDM3 then the CDM4 and CDM12 etc.
Around 1993 it would have been the CDM3/4.
You need to identify which Decoder it is using in the jukebox or you need a kit that replaces the CD player and Decoder.

I have pioneer deck and i own a 93 grand marquis. I need to know what wires to hook up with out using an adapter? can you tell/show me how?

buy an adapter, go to wal-mart you can probably get it for 5-7 bucks, worse case scenario you'll have to order one from autozone for 17 bucks. It's gonna be pretty impossible to find a wiring diagram for your car, and tracing wires is ridiculously difficult for even a professional. My advice is buy the adapter and then all you have to do is match colors...
