Question about Toshiba E-STUDIO 650 Copier
The problem is caused by a black sensing arm that is located at the middle of the exit area and is a long actuator arm that is hanging up and creating an indication that the exit tray is full when it's not. That thing was originally designed to prevent the exit tray from becoming over full and creating a backup and jamming into the the machine. Really bad engineeering. You can permanently rid yourself of this problem by removing the black sensing arm. It pops right out of the two little holders and removing the small front panel and unplugging the sensor. It is accessed by removing a screw from the upper right side of the machine. The panel then pops out exposing the sensor and associated plug. Disconnect the sensor and the error indication will go away, never to return. Too bad I can send a picture. It would really make it clear.
Let me know if this helps. Aloha, Bill Monroe
