Music Essentials Earphones not working?

My stereo earphones with microphone that came with my Music essentials kit only works while I'm holding down the silver button. While held down, I can hear music, but if in a phone call it will hang up the call. Is this a defective headset then? Or is there a setting I should know about in my phone?

I would go with a defective headset the button is to be pressed to ans. calls which is why it's hanging up when a call comes in and you are already pressing it

Have my earphones on but can not hear music

You could try using your earphones with another device to see if they are working properly. For example, I think my earphones have a broken wire in them because when the earphone plug revolves up or down in the jack the sound cuts out. When I turn the plug around a little, the sound comes back. (I am sure you had the volume turned up :)

The sound/volume in my earphones is very low and the earphones are only two months old. is there any way to fix them?

Maybe you only have a bad stereo plug, this one can be replaced, if you have electronic soldering skills, you could do it by yourself, but also to discard stereo jack of your music source, test the headphones in another audio equipment.

Can't adjust the earphone sound

Use the side buttons to lower the master volume, when your in media mode listening to your music, you have to use the side buttons or flip it open and use the side buttons by squeezing your finger between the big screen and the keyboard, they diodnt think that part out to well.

The ear Piece volume control your talking about only pertains to when your actually on a call.

Stupid set-up i know.

Musit volume too loud through headphones

Download mp3gain (freeware) and it will adjust the volume in all your mp3 files down to a reasonable level. Try 84 dB. Then sync them onto your phone.
