Question about Sony FD Trinitron WEGA KV-36FV310 36" TV
My tv takes a minute or so to get a picture when it is first turned on the audio is fine but there are what seems too be grey sparks then the red light flashes 3 or four times then the video goes on and stays on.............. i just bought it used so i was wondering if this is normal
Greg , Sounds like a bad "jungle IC" but without knowing specific voltages it`s really hard to say, picture should show up in approximately 15 seconds not a full minute, it`s normal for the audio to be heard almost instantly way ahead of the video, part number for the IC is 875210104, generic number is cxa2154as, be prepared they are not cheap IC`s, I would probably run the set for awhile and see if it gets worse as time goes by. good luck
