Video freezes up to vertical lines or blue or white screen

Hi,
My HP Pavilion 7520 was working fine for 6 months until:
on unexpected times the screen freezes up to vertical lines or a white or blue screen. The only way to bring it back is to hard reset the computer. Which brings me to the other problem; it's turning off by itself! It can go days with out doing it or it can happen everyday.

Clean the CPU cooler and everithing else from the dust!

Turn off, open the case, use air spray to clean.
(I use vacom cleaner and a small brush, but you risk your component if you do the same! I'm professional.)

Hi

Reflashing the bios doesn't make any difference.

Check in the BIOS Screen whether notebook scree has the same issue if it is the same then it is a hardware issue if it is fine in the bios screen then need to run the hdd and memory test

After the test result we can decide next steps

> If hdd and memory test passes - then reload the os.

To login to bios - Reboot the system and keep tap on f10

Thin blue line

Hi!

This is a phisical hardware problem with the screen.
If the system is under warranty better take back so your vendor replace the screen.

I think is the only solution.

This is a progressive problem, day a day you will be seen more and more lines until the screen become death.

Vertical Lines in Monitor

If the lines are only on your laptop screen, it is generally the display IC on the LCD panel.

When plugged into an external monitor and you still see the lines, it is the video memory on your laptop.
