Question about Panasonic Televison & Video
I see the F04 error when my VCR is in standby mode, and can't eject the tape, it's stuck. I had this problem before, but plugging out for 30-60 minutes was enough. Now, it was plugged off for more than 1 hour, but I still can't eject it.
Time the tape stuck: somewhat before 7:00 PM
Time this problem submitted: 9:40-9:45 PM
Time zone: Central European Summer Time (CEST)
You sound like you have a K Deck Model. If this is the case F04 means that the mechanism locks during unloading.
The apparent cause of this is the Load Motor timing.
