I don't know how to hook up my detached dishwasher to the faucet. It doesn't fit on tightly and water keeps spraying everywhere. There is s red button on the dishwasher part, what is that for?
Hello there:
you are going to want to make sure that the threads on the hose match the faucet and also make sure that the gasket is in place you might even need to get a adapter for the unit to hook up to the faucet.
i would consult the manufacture or the users guide for further help

NO you can’t. These are portable dishwashers that hook to the sink. In order for the quick connect to fit on the faucet, it must be a American Standard faucet. The pull out kind won’t fit on the faucet and no adapter is made.
You could have a leek in the trap under the bench, (the drain plug)
Check the trap is tight,
Check the drain pipe is connected to the sink correctly
Maybe the water is leaking through the bench (there might be a gap / hole in, or on, the side of the bench) some sika sealant could fix this.
Hope this helps, don,t forget to rate or add a comment
Had the same problem w/the water inlet w/initial installation. When the water inlet was hooked to the faucet and into the washer, water leaked on the washer end. The manual tells you to put a new "flat" washer (provided) in the washer machine water inlet, but water still leaked. It's actually the not flat washer, it's more of an "U" shape washer that goes into the washer machine water inlet and fits right over the filter in the water inlet valve. Leak was solved, but faucet was on and water was not filling in the drum. Turn power on, select cycle, water level, and press start and water should start filling the drum.
Most new kitchen faucets feature single-handle control levers and washerless designs that rarely require maintenance. Additional features include brushed metallic finishes, detachable spray nozzles, or even push-button controls.Connect the faucet to hot and cold water lines with easy-to-install flexible supply tubes made-from vinyl or braided steel. If your faucet has a separate sprayer, install the sprayer first. Pull the sprayer hose through the sink opening and attach to the faucet body before installing the faucet.
Where local codes allow, use plastic tubes for drain hookups. A wide selection of extensions and angle fittings lets you easily plumb any sink configuration. Manufacturers offer kits that contain all the fittings needed for attaching a food disposer or dishwasher to the sink drain system.
Yes I can tell you, there is a fitting inside the faucet its call a divertor. When you use the spray handle it clicks over and makes all the water that was going to the spout go to the spray handle.
If you did not have this jsut think how it would work with half the water going to rach side. I don;t know how old your fixture is but it may just have gotten some lime or and other drop of trash inside the faucet.
Turn the water on cold only open full, kinda rapid fire the trigger to make the water jump back and forth for about 3 mins. This may jar lose the junk and stop it from doing what it is doing. If that does not fix it the faucet needs service
Hi. Thanks For The Question. The Adapter Goes On THe Faucet .It Screws On. Then The HoSE From The DishWasher Hooks On To The Adapter Turn On The Water. Plug DishWasher In To The Wall Socket Put Dishes In Lock The Door Push Cycle Good To GOo. Thanks The Appliance Doc
You have to buy an adapter for the faucet that allows the hose to hook up. You an get it at any hardware store. It's easier to get a dishwasher installation kit and just hook it up permanently.
