Question about RCA P61930BL 61" Rear Projection Television
After the TV is turned on it will start switching channels on it's own. We have to turn it off to get it to stop and then it won't come back on.

Hello, there are three options for such failure, the first and simplest is to try to get the remote control out of the room while the TV is off when it is in stand bye. A second possibility is the micro switches in front of the TV, you can verify that they cause failure by disconnecting the cable that connects them to the main board. If the problem stops, you will need to replace all the front switches. And now the last option, however the more expensive one, that there is a malfunction of the micro-processor circuit, from which comes the command to turn on the TV. let me know if that was helpful!
