Question about Star Logic 17" LCD Monitor
When I turn on my computer and monitor in morning after it has been off for the night it won't show anything. It stays blank. When I turn it off and back on again fast it shows icons for a mil-second and goes black again. This happens for quite some time and eventually turning on and off right away it then popps on.
But then will go right on if I turn off computer and monitor and return to use it after 2 hours or so. Turn off for night and same not showing anything but a blank screen until I have turned off and on monitor repeatly.
I don't turn it off,it is asleep and when I try to bring it back the screen stays blank

Best solution ever, never turn it off. i leave mine on all the time and after a while it gets too hot i guess and turns black but is still on. i just turn off for a few minutes then turn back on.

I have the HD20W from Starlogic with the same problem. I actually have 2 of them, on 2 different computers, with the same video card in each computer. so this much I know for sure......IT'S THE MONITOR. If I swap the monitor for the good one, the good one works fine, stays on. It works on either computer. The bad monitor does the same exact thing on both computers with either set of power cords and DVI cable (or VGA, makes no difference.

Check your system unit to make sure the problem is not from the system unit
the signal stage and cable is more likely to have faults contact a local technician for confirmation
