Can't find a dvd that will work in EWR20V4

I am trying to purchase new dvd's to record and can't find one that will work. I have tried Maxell and Sony DVD-R 1x16's 4.7 and neither of them will work. Please help

I have the same problem! I have tried 4 different brands, DVD-R 1x-16x and nothing works. Have you found a solution?

Go to Office Depot buy TDK brand 16x DVD's thay are the only one's other than the Sony 8x that my machine can use. the Sony 8x which are getting harder and harder to find work great. Just go to O/D and buy a small pack of 25 or 50 of the TDK -R 16x DVD's and test them on your machine.
