I can print from computer programs but can...

Just click tools, internet options, Click the advance tap at the top, Scroll down to printing,check the box "Print background colors and images" click apply

Most likely you just have the wrong printer selected when you are trying to print from your internet program. When you click print. click the pull box that shows the printer. Now select the actual printer you want to connect to. Also make sure that your printer is the default and ready by going to start>settings>control panel>printers and faxes. You will see a check mark if its default and it will say ready.
