The drains can be configured a number of ways. Here's what you need to do:
Look under your sink at where the corrugated dishwasher drain line connects to the drain. From there, trace the main drain line to the wall. Your line will be clogged up in that area. Get something to catch the water, and disassemble the drain line until you locate the pluggage. Reassemble.
