Problem for Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 - Slate
MS Mouse 3000 won't work
Same problem. It has a brand new battery and the light turns on but
doesn't flash like it used to and LED is too bright. I can get it to work for short periods of time by fiddling with the battery, but any normal motion causes the problem again. It doesn't seem to be the contacts because I've verified the fit is good. I think when the weight of the battery presses on the PCB, something is shorting.
If anyone has solved this problem, let me know. Otherwise, I have to make that trek to the computer store today!
