I was connecting the ipod to my laptop and couple of times, coz of not connecting properly, it was restarting again and again for 3-4 times until finally its all locked. I removed from USB and its still the same. I am using the toggle to unlock and though i unlock, i can still see the icon lock on my ipod screen and i can use any buttons. Also when i connect to my laptop now it gives me error saying usb malfunction... Please help

If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep.
