Spinmaster 3 wont light up

I have a spinmaster 3 which works fine except the bulb wont light. I can hear the circuit switching to turn it on or off but there is no light even though the bulb is good.

I understand this is a common fault on Mojo lighting with an easy fix. Can someone tell me how to do this and where to get the relevant parts I need.

Re: Spinmaster 3 wont light up

The problem seems to be with the relay that switches on/off the lamp it seems not to be able to handle the current ant the contacts burn out... just check the side of the relay for melting/burning i have replaced mine with an uprated one with no probs

My projector has stopped working and has a message saying bulb not striking does this mean the bulb needs to be replaced

Diagnostic...1, 2 or 3.
1- Ensure that the lamp door is present and closed.
2- Can you hear the safety switch open and close? (when you close the lamp door). If you hear it. its ok, if not, replace it.
3- Replace the lamp.

My Proxima S520 seems to work fine in any

When the lamps are replaced, you need to ensure you have screwed the lamp assembly into the cavity tightly. The lamp assembly presses against a tiny micro switch - if it is slightly loose, then this might trigger a malfunction when the unit is moved.

Other possibility is, perhaps the micro switch is faulty.

NEC MultiSync VT540 not turning on - Temperature error

if the status light is blinking red in 4 sec interval it means that there is something wrong with cooling system. you shold check if there is a thermostat failure or if there are any switches that are not turned on. i suggest you to open the device (using screwdriver) and check if there are any switches broken or damaged.

i had pretty much the same problem (one second interval). i took off the cover and there was a broken switch and i just short-circuit it and now it works

Sorry for my english

Spin master 3 light bulbs blow on almost every 4 hour disco I do

I too used to purchase a lot of disco items from Maplin, however, I have found that thier products are not always the top of the range you would assume. with regards to any replacment lamp/bulb you purchase from Maplin I have found that they not only go quickly, but the ecl's tend to self destruct and last maybe 2 shows, and at the time they were £10.00 eache. I have since come accross a reasonable seller via ebay who I now purchase all of my replacment bulbs from, and they are boxed as sound lab bulbs, less that half some time a third of the price of a Maplin replacment bulb.
hope this helps

Projector problem

I generally fix this by re-seating the bulb housing. Take it out and put it back in. Look for cracking at the base of the bulb on the mirrored surface. It could be a barely functioning bulb that isn't busted, but can't initialize. I would take it to a shop that has the same bub type in a housing and make a quick switch.

InFocus IN74 Projector Fault

Hi there.

How many hours had it done? The bulb may have expired and as a safety precaution the projector will not switch on, otherwise the bulb will explode causeing further damage.

Blub goes out during use.

Most fans have a sense line to detect the fan is working properly, Possible the sense circuit has failed. The unit should not start if it thinks the fans are not running. Possible thermal problem with the sense circuit, since your unit starts up then stops.
