Question about Garmin StreetPilot c550 GPS Receiver
I just purchased my Garmin StreetPilot and used it for the first time today,Upon loading my destination information and proceeding there was no voice guidance just arrows and the information on the title bar screen. How do I get the voice guidance to activate?
Are you sure the volume was up? There is a scroll wheel on the top right side of the unit (as you face it). Make sure it is turned all the way up towards the top of the GPS. You should see yellow bars in the right of the unit indicating the volume level. Also, when you turn the unit on, there is a button on the bottom right that looks like a wrench. Tap this, then press the down arrow on the bottom right. You will see an icon that says, "Volume." Tap it, then check that the "Navigation" volume level is where you want it to be (normally 100%, but that is up to you).
