Not really....

the default for your modem is
192.168.0.1
username: admin
password :motorola

try logging with this first. if this doesn't work then you will have to do manual hard reset of router for default factory settings through either a reset button/pinhole on the back of router and holding it for at least 5 secs but be aware that it will wipe all internet settings and will have to be configured again.. if you don't know how to do that then not recommended to do hard reset. better call isp guys.

Well, If you want to check the same then perform the steps below on a computer connected to your motorola modem:

A. Click on Start—Programs—Accessories—Command Prompt.
B. In Command Prompt window, type in 'ipconfig' and hit 'Enter'. Note down the IP Address, Subnet mask & Default Gateway here. Also, mail us the same IP configuration.

The default gateway address will be the required address for the modem.

Rate it, it helps.

Motorola surfboard

Open your browser and paste this address in: http://192.168.0.1
That should open the login page. I think the user and password are both admin (you can change both to something more personal or easier for you to remember if you want.) Otherwise, Google "Motorola Surfboard user/password" and you'll get your answer.
Once you're in click on the word "Wireless" in the little banner across the top of the page. When the wireless page opens you should see Control Channel as the next-to-the-last option.
Good Luck!

How do I find my wep key? I cant remember it and cant get online wireless with out. I did go to http://192.168.0.1/login.asp but I cant seem to log in there. Please help.

Try to access 192.168.0.1 once again. Try to use "admin" for the username and "motorola" for the password. If "motorola" doesn't work, try "password".
