Re: screen display

To find the source of this problem, you must test each unit on another unit. Try testing your dvd player on another television and try using your television as a television and check it out using another dvd player. check the operation of each unit. If both unit seem to be working fine with the other units, then your problem may be with the cable connections between the units. Try moving them around while you are experiencing the problem ito see if the picture changes back to normal if this happens then you may need to replace the cables or separate them so that they cannot interact with each other causing noise on the picture.. If this does not solve the problem consult you owners manual for both products on how to sychronize the signals between the two products. Try to synchronize them to each other and see if this improves the picture quality. If this does not work you should consult your ownsers manuals for the customer service number and get technical assistance for you problem. You can contact TruTech technical service at these telephone numbers : 1-800-252-6123 and 1-888-252-6252. I hope this helps you with your problem.

Have a 36 inch vizio flat screen it started about four days ago. When i switch from watching a movie on DVd back to regular picture on component 2 no picture is coming up tried chanel 3 an d4 still no...

It sounds like you aren't cycling fully.
It sounds like you are on the TV (RF/Cable) input, then you switch input to Component 1 (for your DVD) and watch the DVD, then hit the input selector again, switching it to Component need to keep switching the input until you are back on the TV / Cable input.

My Vizio LCD TV screen fades to dark. Sound stays on.

I w having this same issue when watching a Blu-Ray disc. I found it to be dependent upon what picture mode the TV was set to. By this I mean certain picture modes would cause the TV to dim during dark scenes of a movie. Changing the picture mode helped a lot.

4.14.1 Understanding Viewing Features
Your LCD HDTV features four viewing modes and Picture-In-Picture (PIP)/Picture-by-Picture (POP) mode.
You can switch viewing modes using the remote control.
4.14.2 Viewing Modes
Normal Mode
The original 4:3 aspect ratio (1.33:1 source) is preserved, so black bars are
added to the left and right of the display image. Standard TV broadcasts are
displayed with a 4:3 Aspect Ratio. Movies in 4:3 Aspect Ratio may be referred
to as pan-and-scan or full frame. These movies were originally filmed in 16:9
(widescreen), and then modified to fit a traditional TV screen (4:3).
Wide Mode
When watching a standard broadcast or full-frame movie in this mode,
the display image is stretched proportionately to fill the TV screen.
When watching a widescreen (1.78:1 source) program or movie, the
display image fills the TV screen. If you are watching a widescreen
(1.85:1 or 2.35:1 source) program or movie, there will still be black
bars at the top and bottom.
Zoom Mode
When watching a widescreen (1.78:1, 1.85:1, or 2.35:1 source)
program or movie, the display image is zoomed proportionally to fill the
width of the screen. The top and bottom are cut off to remove most of
the source material’s black bars. This mode is good for programs or
movies with sub-titles.
Panoramic Mode
When watching a standard broadcast or full frame movie in this mode,
the 4:3 Aspect Ratio (1.33:1 source) display image is stretched
horizontally on the left and right sides to fill the TV screen. The center
of the image is not stretched.

Note: Viewing modes are saved based on input. For example, you lasted watched a DVD in widescreen
mode and then watched TV in standard mode. When you switch back to DVD input, the viewing mode
will return to widescreen.

The best way is to contact your service provider and ask them to trouble shoot guide you, there should be a way to reset or diagnose the receiver or if you prefer go back to the place you bought it and ask for a replacement, You should still have the manufacturer's warranty, check that as well.

Sony KDL 46V2500

This set does have a video problem. If it was bought locally, then, the retailer may have a 30 day return policy. If bought online or cannot be returned, then, contact Sony, for a service center in your location: Either way the set is to new to have a problem and you should get it resolved as soon as possible.
