Question about TruTech PLV16320 Television

Screen display I bought the tv about two months ago to just watch DVD's on. Now when I try to watch movies the audio and picture works but the picture plays as if it is in slow motion so all action is blured.

To find the source of this problem, you must test each unit on another unit. Try testing your dvd player on another television and try using your television as a television and check it out using another dvd player. check the operation of each unit. If both unit seem to be working fine with the other units, then your problem may be with the cable connections between the units. Try moving them around while you are experiencing the problem ito see if the picture changes back to normal if this happens then you may need to replace the cables or separate them so that they cannot interact with each other causing noise on the picture.. If this does not solve the problem consult you owners manual for both products on how to sychronize the signals between the two products. Try to synchronize them to each other and see if this improves the picture quality. If this does not work you should consult your ownsers manuals for the customer service number and get technical assistance for you problem. I have no sound through my tv, when watching through the D-r400. This has not been a problem prior. If I watch through my TIVO, sound is good, but when I switch to the DVD recorder, I have picture, but...

have you tried any of the internal audio option within the players on screen menu's perhaps it got switched to a digital output in there somehow instead of the hdmi your needing to use

My Vizio LCD TV screen fades to dark. Sound stays on.

I w having this same issue when watching a Blu-Ray disc. I found it to be dependent upon what picture mode the TV was set to. By this I mean certain picture modes would cause the TV to dim during dark scenes of a movie. Changing the picture mode helped a lot.

I hooked up our Onkyo TX-SR607 system a few weeks ago and have watched several movies, but now I cannot get the Hitahci PH35811 TV to sync up to get video. I get audio, but no picture when we try to watch...

Are you routing the video into your reciver from the dvd player? If so route the video directly into your tv. It won't fix the initial problem but you will get picture and sound to watch dvd movies.

hey sajith,

check all the audio and video cable's connected to tv and dvd player.
you may have forgot the wire color's (audio and video) there would be one wire for video and two for audio. some times there would be a RF socket also. so, see the right sockets and connect to tv by interchanging wires.

The best way is to contact your service provider and ask them to trouble shoot guide you, there should be a way to reset or diagnose the receiver or if you prefer go back to the place you bought it and ask for a replacement, You should still have the manufacturer's warranty, check that as well.

This set does have a video problem. If it was bought locally, then, the retailer may have a 30 day return policy. If bought online or cannot be returned, then, contact Sony, for a service center in your location: Either way the set is to new to have a problem and you should get it resolved as soon as possible.
