Check that the new panel isn't pushing down on any of the buttons when you reassemble it. Compare it with the old panel and look closely for any differences. Ive come across it a few times where changes to panels have been made and its supplied to fit yours but the changes prevent correct operation. You may have to file or cut any part off which interferes with the switches or controls. This happens when there are production line changes on the same models.

SOURCE: Fault code C1

"C1" is known as an Instantaneous Current Limit Error. This will occur when the Motor Controller detects a current spike of 26 amps or greater at the motor windings. Overloading the washer, excessive water and/or excessive suds can cause this problem.
The manufacturer recommends the following:

- Wash smaller loads and use the correct detergent (HE only for Calypso machines). NOTE: Make sure the HE detergent is not double or triple concentrated as this will also cause suds problems.
- Check for objects under the nunate plate. This is the wash plate. Sometimes clothing can get stuck under the plate and cause the motor to bind up. To remove the nunate plate, follow these instructions:

1. UNPLUG THE WASHER.

2. Open the washer top. Look along the front seam of the washer where the top meets the front. There are a couple of retaining clips (about 2" in from each side) that you will need to push in on with a putty knife while gently lifting up on the top to get the top to release. Carefully open the top and lay it back against the wall in a resting position. Make sure you support the lid so it doesn't fall open when you tilt the top back.

3. Remove the tub ring. This is the plastic donut shaped ring that sits on top of the wash tub. There will be a tab on either side of the outer tub near the back that you can use a screwdriver to release the tub ring. The ring is filled with fluid and is used to balance the tub. So, if you hear liquid sloshing around, this is normal.

4. Remove the center cone from the wash plate. Use a flat blade screwdriver and insert it into any of the slots available along the sides. Gently pry until it pops off. I say "gently", but you may have to use a little muscle to get it to come off. Sometimes they stick. Once the center cone is removed there will be a series of nuts under it.

5. Remove the nuts and the wash plate should lift out. Be careful not to damage the gasket under it. Clothing can get tangled in the leveler under the wash plate. This leveler should have a key on it. The wash plate will only go back in with this key mating to a slot on it. So, remember how you took it off. In addition, when putting the wash plate back on, make sure you tighten the nuts in a cross pattern and evenly tighten them as you go. This will ensure the gasket seats properly. Don't forget to put the tub ring back in.

- Check for objects stuck between the inner wash tub and the outer basket. NOTE: It is best to do this with the nunate plate removed. Use a flashlight to peer through the holes in the wash basket to see if anything is catching on the tub.
- Check the Motor Controller. You will need to determine if there is power getting the the board first and that the fuse on the board is good. If any components on the board are defective, the board has to be replaced. If you have power to the board and the fuse checks good, check for continuity between the Machine Controller and Motor Controller.

There is a tech sheet inside your washer along the interior cabinet (usually the front panel) that explains all these procedures to you. I would advise you to research the tech sheet for exact locations of the pin outs for the circuit boards. Its easier for you to view it rather than me explain it. If you need further assistance, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps you.

SOURCE: I have a whirlpool duet

that display code is associated with the control panel failing. You will probably need a technician to come take a look.

SHE33M Built-In Dishwasher handle broke off?

You have not put the full Enr, but from the bit you have added I assume you are in the states. I think you should be able to get parts from
http://www.searspartsdirect.com

Usually if the control panel breaks on this model, it is because you have the child lock activated on the door latch inadvertently and therefore have to force the door to get it open. This in turn puts stress on the panel which will eventually break. When you get the new panel ensure that you remove the child lock from the door latch. If you take off the front fascia panel and look at the door latch (centre top) you will see a yellow lever attached to it with a spring, just pop this off and you will immediately find that the door is much easier to open.
All the best.

Replaced the control board in Bosch Dish Washer SHE44C and the cycle times are reversed???

I think this board requires coding to your particular model?? your dishwasher has four selection button and a delay start, whereas the module has five selections and delay as it is used in several different modesl. The coding info should have been in the box with the part and may need to be carried out directly on the module with the fascia panel removed. If you post the part number of the module I will see if I can get you the coding information..

Bosch dishwasher model shu43c05uc diagnostic code C1 at start then P0. what does this mean?

You seem to have inadvertently put it into the test sequence. Try pressing the two reset button simultaneously (usually the reset buttons are 1st and 3rd from left each with a dot underneath, if this does not work, press the button between the two resets (2nd button) P1 should come on then press the right reset button. The unit should run through a test cycle for approx 20mins and eventually reset the module, this is indicated by 0 in the display. Please repost if further assistance required.

Error code C1 PO......

Hello. Your model dishwasher has a recall on it. There is a potential problem with the control board. Call Bosch at (800)856-9226 to find out if your unit needs to have a new control board installed and re-programmed. This only covers the replacement of the control board--any other problem will be covered by the customer. You will need the model and serial number. Next, regarding your model's problem...this was gotten from another tech site(I'm a member of quite a few, lol)
"Sounds like the unit is stuck in the control coding mode. C1 is the proper coding for your model so you just need to lock it in.
To enter coding mode, press and hold the second, third, fourth and fifth buttons to the right of the display simultaneously, then turn the dishwasher on using the On/Off switch. The associated leds will be blinking to confirm coding mode.
Release all buttons to view control coding. To change coding, press the second button to scroll through codes C0 - C9. C1 is the correct code for your unit.
Turn the dishwasher off to save control coding and exit coding mode." I hope this helps you! Let me know if you need further assistance!---Thanks!

Replace cover on Bosch Dish washer> Now a C6 code is displayed in the window

I had the same problem after replacing the white panel on my Bosch SHE45M02UC with a stainless panel. I got the C6 error code. I called Bosch customer service twice and neither rep was helpful. One guy told me he didn't know what the C6 code meant. He suggested that I call a local appliance repair guy and he would know what the code meant. I replied, you mean to tell me you work for the manufacturer of the dishwasher and don't know what the error code stands for but a local repair guy that doesn't work for Bosch does?

After all this frustration, I took the panels off and tested the dishwasher with no buttons. It worked fine! Turns out, each identical button isn't identical. Each one is labeled A-G. After putting it back together, no more C6 code! On a side note, try reseting the dishwasher. With the dishwasher on and door closed, hold down the cancel/reset buttons for 5 seconds and release. The disher should drain and reset.

Bosch Dishwasher stuck in "Scrub Cycle"

The Control module on our SHU43 blew this morning and when I took it apart to get the module out, I discovered why two of the Cycle selections no longer worked..... the little plastic lever that pushed the switch behind the fascia button - had broken off. You may have the same issue. It's not a cheap fix though as a new module is gonna cost me $175.
