i need to open ports on my 2 wire 2700HG modem ( i was told to by microsoft) how do i do so?

Hi! to open the ports on your 2wire 2700hg modem..that is possible by accessing the setup page of the 2wire modem, if there is an option for the port triggering then you can set the application name and the port #, check if the modem is capable of opening a ports..
