When the pairing process between the E71 and SBH650 starts, try immediately to hold down, or press every half a second, the central 'call' button on the SBH650 - to force the SBH650 to think it is pairing with a new device. It took me 5-10 min of playing about in a similar situation, but eventually the SBH650 cleared it's 'memory' and the '0000' pairing code worked with another telephone...
however, I have never managed to pair the SBH650 with OS 3.0 upgraded ipod touch 2nd gen.

This has happened to me before. There are only two things you can do:1. If you have the card that your SIM card came in then you can plug in one of the codes to unlock your card.2. If not, then you have to go into your carrier store and have them give you a new SIM card.
