My Panasonic NN-S541 Microwave does beeps alone. Sometimes, your beeps activate CHILD LOCK function. Now I can only enter one number by time and hit Start. I can press +1 minute, but Start dont work in this case.

Its a child lock if your suffering with the same thing as us,My six year old brother managed to lock the microwave,all it displayed was a frustrating 'LOCK' message.to fix it i just hit the 'stop/reset' button three times

press the function key,select option #5, select option#2. This should take it out of child lock. If this doesn't work enclose your model number and I will try to look up the manual
Or, press "Cancel" three times to clear the (child) lock. You set the lock by pressing "Start" three times.
On my NN-L738BA there is a Child Lock feature. You set the child lock by pressing the Start button 3 times. If the Child Lock is enabled it displays the word :CHILD".
To disable this feature on my microwave the manual says to press the Stop/Reset 3 times.
Not sure of the TT series models but for the NN series models the procedure is as follows:-
If "Child" is displayed in the display window, then the child safety lock is on.
To remove the child safey lock, press the "Stop/Reset" button 3 times in fairly short succession (less than 3 seconds). The time of day or just the Colon sign (:) is then displayed
If you later want to apply the Child safety lock, then, when the time of day (or colon sign) is displayed, press "Start" 3 times (again in short succession).
For my Dimension 4 (Model number NN-C877W), you turn on the child lock by pressing 'Start' 3 times. To turn it off, press 'Stop\Cancel' 3 times. www.planetmediocrity.com
