I use several of these (H27E35D) in my hotel. I recently installed a sat. tv system and need to have the tv's set to channel 3 when turned on. Currently, when a guest turns on the tv, it is set, by default, to 50. Thank you in advance for your help.
I have a zenith 27" television that is defaulted to channel 4 when turned on instead of channel 3. I want to set channel 3 as the default channel and I don't how. I also have a problem with the volumn. It has to be turned all the way up to be able to hear it. How can I reset the volumn to a normal setting?

Most of the Hotel sets use a different remote to enter the hidden menus--the system that set uses was likely on channel 81 and where it was used they needed it to come on at a specific time----going to get that specific service remote and info on how to change settings---this is the issue with buying these commercial sets.
Zenith is part of LG but different phone numbers etc
Unfortunately, you didn't specify if you needed assistance with programming digital or conventional radio systems.. but here is the info for conventional systems. Since a conventional system is really a collection of frequencies, the
first thing you need to know is the frequency for each channel you want
In order to get all the channels u have to have the original remote or a universal remote that has a menu button, an enter button, and directional pad (the directional pad cannot control the volume and channels it must be for navigating). push and hold the menu button, the menu will appear then disappear, once it disappears release the button and enter 9876 then press enter. a different menu will appear and it will b three black lines, one at the top of the screen, one in the middle and one at bottom. the middle line has 3 sections the first part is the item number the second part is the description and the last part is the on/off switch using either a 0 or 1. push down on the directional pad until u get to the 00 factory settings 0 and change the 0 to a 1 with the right button on the directional pad. then scroll up to 20 channel lock 0 (i think its 20, it may be like 22 but it is in the twenties for sure) and change the 0 to a 1. then go back down to the 00 factory settings and change the 1 back to 0 then turn the tv off. when u turn the tv back on it will either automatically ask u to auto tune or u will have to go to auto program to program the channels. there are like 80 different menu items, be sure not to mess with any other ones unless u know what ur doing, u could cause ur tv not to function properly or even be able to turn on.
this problem frustrated me greatly and im very happy to help whoever i can with the solution
I had the same problem the solution is you have to get institutional remote and reset the tv from commercial mode to consumer mode and then you will have access to the full menu. go to www.phillipsitv.com to get the directions. I actually asked a Hotel could I borrow their master remote used it and took it back and my tv works fine. Hope this helps.
