I need to replace the network card. How do I do that and what product do I need to buy? Thank you

as far as i see you the network jack is built into the motherboard,
you'd either have to replace the mother board
or purchase a new usb exterior network jack

I lost my mother board drivers when i formatted my system.i want my mother board drivers

You can download the device drivers for your motherboard from the motherboard manufacturer's WEB site.
I cannot give you the link to the manufacturers WEB site because you didn't provide any details of the make and model of your motherboard.

Need a copy of warranty for Gateway M-1626 laptop

Find the serial-number for your Gateway computer -- usually somewhere on the label(s) on the bottom.

Access Gateway's web-site:

and enter the serial-number, to get information, hopefully including "warranty-status" for your system.

My laptop broke into piece - my mother board is ok (intack). I need to access i2b data files. Does anyone know of someone that can access these i2b data files?

Purchase a 2.5" Hard drive enclosure. Install the hard drive into the enclosure and plug it in to another computer.

If you can get the board fthrough someone online at a good price ( $150) or so, you can do it yourself.

It seems hard at first but its really not. Just set down a piece of paper and draw a few 2 inch circle on it, then when you take the screws out, put each in ther own spot and label them so its easy to put them back. I.E. label one, BASE SCREWS for the bottom, Mobo screws for Mother board and so fourth, also put how many on the paper in case they get knocked off.

Then start removing the bottom covers to the wireless card, Hard drive, memory, etc. and set aside as these will be the last you put back.

once you rmeove the keyboard, you will see inside and will be able to start removing the screen screws and so on.

You may be able to find a repair manual that will shows you step by step on the manufacturers website.

remmeebr though, New laptops are getting cheap, if they want $500 for parts and labor, just buy a new one and sell your old one on ebay for parts.

Im affraid the problem with yours does sound like its the mother board. happens to Dells and HPs alot where I work.

Gateway 7330GZ- PArts needed

Those cables are custom made for each manufacturer and model. The only place to get a replacement (other than buy a junker on ebay) is from the manufacturer. The plastic pieces are another matter. They are standard connectors and you can buy them from Digikey or Mouser. Soldering them in place is not for a novice. You need a proper soldering iron, desoldering tool, very fine solder and a lot of patience and skill.
