You might have to take a look into the unit, there could be some damage or a bad solder connection on the front left speaker connector at the circuit board, possibly also on any other component (power amp chip / transistors, internal connectors, etc.), also loose or broken wires or oxydized connector contacts inside the unit.

It could be something else as well, but i guess it's worth checking the above mentioned.

Hope you can fix it

I have a Onyko TX-SR303 5.1 Receiver and sound is only coming out of left front speaker.

Could be the IC that controls the various sound/surround channel modes. Had that happen on my Pioneer receiver.
Charged me close to 200 bucks to fix!

It sounds like you also need the manual.

The remote is an RC-4278. You WILL need it.

As far as the left speaker goes, swap it to decide if it's the speaker, wire or the amp channel. There are no control settings that would make one of the front pair go silent.

Hi, I have a TX-8511 Onkyo. The left channel is silent. It's not the speakers or the wiring - checked and swapped. Using 8 ohm speakers and switch is set to 8 ohms. Does the same thing on both A & B -...

hello 1 of the transistor could be dry jointed if joint ok then you may a leak on the transistor also check the capacitor around the transistor for bulging all the best

No sound from front left channel

Try swapping the connectors for front-left and front-right (just swap right at the back of the amp)

After the swap, does the front-left speaker work, and now the front-right is dead? If so, then it's a problem in the amp.
If not, then the problem is in the wiring and/or the front-left speaker itself.

Post back here with your findings, and we'll troubleshoot whichever part of the system is broken.

The output to the front left channel is low

Try adjusting level calibration for the front left speaker under setup. This should solve your problem.

No sound from speaker

Isolate the wiring, too. It's a binary problem. Should be easy. Or try running your suspected speakers on other channels to eliminate amplifier bugs.

if you are sure you swapped speakers and its still the same, get a refund the unit is bad.
