We have a Garmin dash cam55 and we are having trouble changing the language from Spanish to English. My husband clicked the wrong language by mistake when setting it up ?

Hiya I had the same problem, my son didn't give me chance to do anything on christmas and managed to set the language in Spanish!! I tried everything! I don't know if you have the same Omnitrix, but where the green button is just under the screen, there is a little hole there to the right of it, with a reset button in, i just poked it with a pencil and the list of languages came up! Alright... I am going to do my best here to provide non-language navigation.

If the screen is locked you will get:
Little response to buttons (Except Left Soft-Key, used with Z or * to unlock)
Just a clock on the screen with words above and below
Grey/dark screen brightness.

Providing the screen is unlocked:

Left Soft-Key (White bar above House)
2nd row last icon (Folder with gear)
7 Key
5 Key
Center Navigation button.
Select Language.
Left Soft-Key

These instructions should blindly take you to the language selection for languages that your ROM supports.

For other languages, a ROM Flash would be required, which is nearing outside of the scope of this site.

select the wrech icon on main menu, then select the wrench icon again if given the option. Then select the lips icon, and you'll have 2 options - voice and text - and they won't be spelled in english, but go into both separately and scroll until you find the english choices. I had this problem and couldn't find the correct solution online. I fiddled for over an hour and finally figured it out.

just go to configuraciones then select idiomas, from there choose the first one.and thats ENGLISH.

Hit Voice (top bar on left) Change to English
