I have problem with Humidifier, water level is 70% or more, humidifier runs good for some time and then it stops and red light is ON. what can cause this and how to slove this problem...?

- Same problem - dunno what to do. I love this humidifier, so quiet and mist the right amount. Once I changed the filter I tried to scrub, soak, test, and nothing worked. The red light is constant now and won't start up. - GuestJan 17, 2008
- I've got the same issue. The tank is at almost 90%, but the red light comes on all the time. It seems to work for several minuted when you first turn it on, then the light comes on and it shuts down. I've taken the assembly apart including the float switch and scrubbed it clean with CLR to remove the lime deposits, however it still refuses to function.- jasonseeJan 04, 2008

Okay, I just started getting this same deal with my 7133 on it's third season. I found in a blog that if you hold down the button that controls the heat while turning the mist knob on, it resets the machine. It worked. The red light went green and I turned off the heat button for cool air and the upper light still stayed green. Fingers crossed this continues to work. good luck!
