My Son is trying to buy a map pack out 07/08/09 have purchased things before with credit details on the account but machine keeps sayin error , we have changed card details to another in case it was the problem but it also keeps saying invalid card etc , any ideas to who i contact to sort this out. You receive this error when a secondary account in a Gold Family Pack subscription tries to add a credit card or buy Microsoft Points. Secondary accounts cannot add credit cards to or make purchases with cards over Xbox LIVE. The primary account can add a credit card and transfer points to the secondary account. I would call the PSN customer service and explain to them what you were doing and then what happened as a result of buying the map pack. They may have indirectly charged you or in some cases after using a certain amount of your PSN credits they pull more from your credit card so that it will be easier next time to buy another addon, game, map, etc.

play staion network went crazy when the new map packs came out, an easy way around it which i done i purchased a play station network card code from shop2.net £20 credit for £18 emails the code straight to your email address instantly.

Go to the PSN site and login and double check you credit card details and the make sure when you purchase the maps download the addon correctly through the system.

u dont have to buy points from microsoft just go to any gaming store and buy the points card then download map pak.

I'm having the same problem. Every time I click Buy Now it says that an error occurred. I tried adding it to the cart, then adding funds with a credit card, but it just says the server connection timed out...
