Wirelesssignal lost.

Laptop wireless has stopped receiving signal all of a sudden. The switch for wireless is on. It just stopped picking up the signal.

I tested to see if the driver needed installing but it is up-to-date. Ive tried reseting router, re-entering wap/wep key. Disabling the driver/enabling. However, if i sit right next to the router it picks up a connection, but although it says excellent it is much slower than what it usually was. As soon as i change room, its lost again. The router has not been moved/played with. Sitting in same spot as ever.
