When i plug my external charger in outlet no light comes on.

When the red light is on it is to indicate that the charger is getting power from the wall outlet. If there is a second light that normally comes on Green when charging pay close attention to it when you first plug the charger in. See if it blinks even once then turns off. If it does that means the charger is not seeing any battery voltage at the plug that goes into the chair. If the green light does not blink at all then it usually means the charger is defective. Also most wheelchair battery chargers will not charge the batteries if the chair is to dead to even turn on.

As in the first part of the manual is explained, when you have inserted the battery correct and you then plug in the charger, the charger light should go on. When the light is out, the battery is charged. When the light blinks, your battery is fault.
When the light does not go on, when you plug it in a power outlet, the battery is not inserted correct, or the contacts are dirty.
If you want to clean the contacts, please only use a dry cloth. Never us a sharp tool. It would damage the contacts bend repair.
Even when you plug in the charger, with a fully loaded battery, the light should go on for only a few moments.
Make sure the power outlet works normally. and the power cable is not defect.

does the outlet work that the charger is plugged into... is the battery completely dead and the charger can't see it... is the charger even plugged in... or is it even any good ???

you will likely need to remove the battery pack to run the unit. If this works, you will need a new battery to use the laptop portable.

The only way to check the charger which it looks like is

a) When you plug in the charger to the laptop are there any lights that come on anywhere on the laptop ( if so its not the charger )

b) Plug in an external monitor to rule out the screen ?

More than likely your charger is broken. If the charger has any lights on it, see if they turn on when the charger is plugged into an outlet. If the lights don't turn on, try another outlet. If the lights still won't come on, you need a new charger.

If the lights work, or your charger doesn't have any try using a different charger and see if the PSP will charge. If not, then the actual connection within your PSP is shot, or there was a short in your system.

The first thing to do is make sure the problem isn't with the outlet your using. Try another outlet, preferably one in another car just to make sure the problem isn't a fuse or the contact points in your outlet. Try another device into that same outlet and see if it works.

seeelsie Check the charger's fuse located on the front of the case. If you don't see one then you might have to take it apart to see if there is a fuse inside the charger. Check it to make sure it hasn't blown. If you are getting no lights when you plug it into the wall outlet (at least the red light should be lit) if not and you can't find a fuse then you will have to replace the charger. Maybe you know someone with a chair that has an external charger you could borrow for a few hours to charge your chair until you can get one. any external or offboard charger will work so look around for the best deal. Hope this helps

Please clarify: what charger did you use to connect to an outlet? The Kindle 3 comes with an USB cable to charge from a PC or Mac computer and no charger outside for many countries outside the US (for other countries an external charger is available from Amazon as optional accessory). Use of a different charger (e.g. mobile phone charger with USB connector) is not supported, not recommended and may fry your Kindle if a wrong voltage is hooked to it.

Things you can try:

1. Use a different outlet to charge the Kindle.
2. If you use the supplied USB cable to connect to a PC, make sure its firmly seated on both ends. Connect to a powered USB port directly on your computer. Some external USB hubs do not come with a separate power supply (external power supply is mandatory for an USB 2.0 hub, some cheap models are sold without one anyway) and are not suited to charge anything. Just to make sure, disconnect any other USB device except mouse / keyboard to check if the USB port in use is not burdened by too much drain.
   
3. The Kindle power LED should glow amber while charging and green if the device is fully charged.
   
4. Give the Kindle a reset pressing Home --> Menu --> Settings --> Menu and select "Restart." If the charge light is on but the device is still not charging, contact Amazon customer service.
5. If the charge light does not light, the AC adapter or cable needs to be replaced.
6. Contact Amazon customer support for any warranty issues.
   

It should have come with an external battery charger with a wall charger.

Check the cell phone section of a department or electronics store. You should be able to find USB chargers that plug into wall outlets or cigarette lighters. You can use one of those along with the supplied USB cable to charge the camera.
