Question about ASUS K8S-MX Motherboard

My pc wont boot up

My asus motherboard wont boot up , the screen doesnt even turn on , but the key board flashes once when i press the on button , could this be a cpu falure , because when i swop every thing to another mother board it works fine, is it my zif socket? please help guys!

SOURCE: boot falure

its the complaint in your mother board check resitance pack an open pico farad ,start track open ,indicators open ,socket loose ,serial parell port converstion ic faulty on super I/O, incorect bios all this can lead to kayboard or mouse not working contact ur near by chiplevel technition

USB Booting


During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup usually the Delete or the F2 key

Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS the using arrow key scroll down to advanced bios features press enter change your first boot device to your desired device ,press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart

I can't boot from sata CDs with my motherboard asus p5rd1


During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup
Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS
after you make any changes in BIOS press Esc then press the F10 button save to cmos to restart
cmos is located in BIOS

The motherboard battery is dead. Look on the board for a silver disk about 1/2 inch in diameter, that is the motherboard battery. It is usually held in place by a small spring affair and is easily removed and replaced, your local pharmacy or watch maker should have new ones in stock.

Asus p320 Wont Boot anymore! help :(


Try this

"do hard reset:Press Right Soft Key and tap Reset at the same time, then please first release reset and hold the Right Soft Key, After P320 is powered-on , clean boot prompt picture will show on screen.Currently, you can release Right Soft Key. Follow the dialogue’s message, you can press “SEND key” to start clean boot or press “END key” to cancel clean boot.

Asus Pundit P1-AH2 Barebones System not booting


Try this press ESC, if this did not work press F1 or F2 lastly F8. Accessing the bios depend on manufacture. Process press the key and power if on the pc and keep pressing the key till hearing the beep or bios screen will turn on. Hope the info will help you access the bios screen.

No signal to monitor.......all dark


and im sure the screen appers to be blank and the key board lights flash once and no feed back other than the fans spinning right? . this is a common problem with asus motherboards and AMD cpu's which indicates a bad motherboard or cpu if you have acces to anouther cpu try changing to that one if that doesnt work you're motherboard is gone
