SOURCE: how do i reset 2 factory default

If the Recovery Partition is still on the hard drive, you can restore to factory settings from it. pressing Ctrl-F11 while powering on should bring up the option ot recover. (the recovery partiion is put there by Dell for these situations. if it's not there, you'd need the original CD/DVD's it came with). If Ctrl-F11 doesn't work, try powering on while holding F10 or F12.
Cheers

I need to reset my phone amd i forgot my passcode

Hello Karabo, what kind of phone do you have?

If you're an iPhone user and forget your passcode, you will have to factory reset it without Apple ID. To do this you need first put the phone into DFU mode and connect it to iTunes. Your iTunes will help you to reset your iPhone without entering Apple ID easily. Restoring iPhone to factory settings with this method will result in wiping all the data. The following steps will show you how to do that.

1. Open iTunes on your computer and connect your iPhone to the computer with a USB cable.

2. After that, turn off you device. Press and hold the Home button for 3 seconds.

3. Put your iPhone into DFU mode: Press and hold the Power and Home button for 10 seconds. Then release the power button and keep holding the home button. When you see the Apple logo disappears, you have successfully put your iPhone into DFU mode.

4. When iTunes detects that your iPhone is in recovery mode, you can restore it now.

5. Click on Restore iPhone. Then you will be notified after the reset and your iPhone will take a restart.

After factory resetting iPhone, you will get all the data swept from iPhone 6 Plus, and you can restore the files from your iPhone, iTunes backup or iCloud backup.

Bought a used iPod, it's a older one. And everytime I try to down load it wants previous owners email password. How do I change this to my own information?

You could factory reset the iPod but you will loose all data on it. Once the iPod comes back from reset and go through the configuration setup you can chose a new passcode.

Step 1 Press the Sleep/Wake button on the top of your iPod and press the Home button at the same time.
Step 2
Hold both buttons for 10 seconds.
Step 3
Release the buttons when you see the Apple logo appear on the display. Your iPod is now reset to its factory defaults and you will be guided through the initial setup process. After resetting your iPod, you'll need to sign in using your Apple ID and set up iCloud usage.

Dial: ##4357*
Select view
Scroll down to select reset.
6 digit code: 000000
Click Ok
Should reboot.
Dial *228
try this reset procedure ..and see if ti works..remember that you will loose any user data on it ..this will reset it to factory settings ..
Also it may be a good idea to remove any media on it ..
If this is not working ..you should get to the manufacturer support site ..and download the firmware and make an update ..or ..I would go for the original firmware and make a re-soft ..

I have recently purchased the Garmin nuvi 765T and I have charged it and waited to use in the car but after a few seconds of turning it on, it turns itself off after showing the "Garmin" company...

Try to soft reset it by holding the power button for at least 20 seconds till it restarts.

If that doesn't help - try a master reset to factory defaults by holding the lower right corner during startup for at least 20 seconds. This will erase all user data and starts the Garmin in factory default.

If it restart I suggest updating the software to the latest version on Garmin.com

Start up only shows creative logo

hmm.. it's stuck on that?

try pressing the reset button (usually on the back), to hardware reset it to the factory defaults. if that doesn't work, it's time to either call the manufacturer or extended warranty provider (if it's still under one), or give it a proper funeral :~)
