Through control panel, add or remove programs, or windows vista programs and features. Then from this you can uninstall what programs you need to. You use device manager to uninstall hardware, select the item then right click and chose uninstall hardware.

Aspire5734z- screen is black, if I hold in light i can see that it has stuff on screen, what do I need to do????

Its your back light bulb for your screen has blown, it happened to my old acer. Its very expensive to repair and fiddly to repair yourself. I sold mine for spares as was going to cost me £200 to be repaired professionally.

Hope this helps and please rate, thanks

How do i connect my pc to my tv

Depending on the tv and the computer, their is usually an "s-cable" port in both. It's a round plug in with 4 metal prongs and 1 square plastic prong on the plug, and 5 holes in the plug in on the computer. Available anywhere vidio stuff is sold; walmart or even your local video store.

If your componants are newer then a standard usb cable (computer connector) will work.

Well i just bought the computer from someone who had it before me the origional owner has moved away but now when i go to cut the laptop on it asks for a password is there anyway to get the password or...

No, there isn't. This is a safety function to prevent theft. You HAVE to get the password from the former owner. Sorry. I hope you weren't sold a stolen laptop.

All the best.

I have a SECURE-SHRED (tm)shredder, approx. 10 years old, which will not operate at all. Is there a likelihood that it might be the power supply? If so, where can I obtain a replacement power supply? TDC...

Probably more practical to replace with a new shredder. There are several standards though.
If you wiki or google shredder standards you can check this stuff out. So if you're doing crazy stuff and you need it shredded like Enron did then go with one of the new Federal Standard type shredders, otherwise risk electrocution or a small fix if you try to fix it your self - time / money in doing so as well.
Thanks!

Question about Solding on the screen board

The easiest way is to use a product called "Solder Wick", it's braided copper with a chemical in it that sucks up the old solder. You just out the braid against a solder joint then put the solder iron against the braid. The other method is to simply heat all three transistor leads (on old one) and the same time and put it out. This is messy and makes putting the new one in much harder.
